Boston, MA, 12/7/05
The firestation in Boston's Back Bay has its own, old-fashioned firehouse dog--known as Colonel McSniff, or "The Colonel" for short. As soon as the alarm sounds, The Colonel, a six-year-old English Yellow Lab, stands at attention and then jumps into his seat inside Engine 33. On one slow afternoon, when nothing by false alarms came over the wire, the Colonel slumped in his seat. Firefighter Chris Wright, on the right, was also used to a little bit more action--he had just returned from a tour of duty in Iraq with the Marines.
Framing Options:Our standard framing includes a straight black metal frame and wide archival-quality off-white mat custom made for the image you select. This classic presentation works well for virtually any image.
Important:Print sizes refer to the photographic paper on which our images are printed. We maximize the size of the actual image on each print, but we cannot change the dimensions of the original image as it appeared in the newspaper. Because not all photos fit exactly onto the three print sizes we offer, the size of the white borders around each image will vary.
